@sunfire

i want to start up a hex build for dlc reasons but a lot of the best int/fth gear is spread around the middle to late game
and i want to go for pure sorceries which cuts out the option of golden order incantations
(discus of light my beloved 😔)

also don't particularly want to use the sword of night and flame
the uh
one weapon in the base game that scales with int/fth

where making this hapen i've decided
about 11 days left? sure, i can probably get to leyndell in that amount of time
i'm specifically targeting magma shot and roiling magma
but i'll be picking up the usual sorceries along the way

i might even semi-restrict myself to using only standard glintstone sorceries alongside the magma and death hexes

rancorcall won't work as a daily driver until later i fear, but i wonder if it'll pick back up by the point of the dlc. that would be nice

A few Mandelbulb3d sketches for a worldbuilding idea.
My strategy has basically just been to stare at the mutator tool and pick whichever of the options looks best.

Of these, each has some aspects of what i want:

  • The first has the closest details and fine structure, with almost sand-dune-like mountains and carved valleys
  • The second has the best image composition, wrapping around a central focus with larger structures looming on the horizon
  • The third captures the distance and enclosure that i want, as if the fractals extend in all directions forever

[back to overview]
Now we're starting to get into builds that were made with something Real in mind!

I think i remember... discovering the Fallingstar Beast Jaw by just looking at weapons with ashes of war online, possibly from a video or wiki page, and immediately liking how the casting animation looked.
It's one of those chaining ranged skills that i tend to like the most.
AND it has physical damage with pretty good poise damage!
I was sold.

And thus, i began crafting a character with that weapon specifically in mind.
